During the 1969 model-year release, Porsche would expand once again. The release of the mid-range Porsche 911E would replace the 911L. This new trio of 911’s – the 911T, 911E, and 911S – would run for three years and would offer a wide range of options to Porsche buyers. The 1969 Porsche 911 T version would offer 110hp and a top speed of 110mph. On the other hand, the 911E offered 140hp and a top speed of 134mph. The most expensive version, the 911S, would offer 170hp and a top speed of 140mph. While both the “S” and “E” models were fuel injected, the 1969 Porsche 911 T used carburetors. This was also the first year of the long wheelbase 911s. As such, it is one of the most popular model-years for collectors. If you’re looking to sell your 1969 911, be sure to advertise any options that your particular car offers. Some of the available options included: sunroofs, tinted windshields, Sportomatic transmission, 10-spoke cast magnesium wheels, chrome plated wheels, leather or sports seats, and a three-piece steel muffler skirt.
