The 1968 Rolls Royce Phantom V was produced between 1959 and 1968, and was the successor to the Phantom IV. This massive luxury auto shared the same chassis and running gear as its Silver Cloud II cousin, but boasted a longer wheelbase to accommodate, in most cases, seven-passenger seating. Although this was the same chassis that Rolls Royce had been using for years, offering beam rear axle, drum brakes, and mechanical brake servo, it was tried and true — and very reliable. Under the hood, the same 6.2 liter V-8 engine powered the Rolls Royce Phantom V, and it was capable of 100+mph.

The 1968 Rolls Royce Phantom V was also similar in appearance to the Silver Cloud II, but it was longer and larger.
