Selling an Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint Veloce
The Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint Veloce would appear in the Giulietta roster in 1956. A Sprint coupe modified by fitting aluminum alloy doors, trunk and engine lid, Plexiglas side and rear windows, and an engine with different carburetors, camshafts and compression ratio, the Sprint Veloce would give owners 90hp compared to the normal 65hp. A similar Spider Veloce was also manufactured. In total, it is estimated that 3,058 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint Veloce models were manufactured prior to the end of production in 1963. Under the first series, the Giulietta Sprint Veloce would have the model number of 750E, while in the second series from 1958 the Sprint Veloce would have a model number of 101.06. The Sprint Veloce would initially have a four-speed transmission with column shifting, however, from 1958 this would change to a five-speed transmission and floor shifter to coincide with the new extended wheelbase.
Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint Veloce Seller’s Guide
While all Alfa Romeo Giulietta models are considered collectible and attractive to enthusiasts, the Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint Veloce is particularly interesting thanks to its increased engine capacity, sporty styling and attractive curvature. As with all classic Alfas, rust plays a very important role in the overall condition of the car, and therefore its value. Potential buyers who are educated on classic Alfas will certainly want to inspect the car for any rust or areas of rust repair. As a seller, one of the best things you can do to prepare for the sale is to gather all the documents you have on the car, including any photos or extra parts. Having this information available to potential buyers will help them consider the overall package. When pricing your classic Alfa Giulietta Sprint Veloce, you’ll want to take into consideration the condition, rarity, other Sprint models that have recently sold, those that are currently on the market, and the history of the car. For help with any of these areas, the Alex Manos team is always willing to share their experience and knowledge.
