Buying or Selling a 1935 Bentley 3.5 Litre?
The Bentley 3.5 Litre model was introduced in 1933 after Bentley’s acquisition by Rolls Royce and sold as a bare rolling chassis until 1939. 2,411 units were built in total and sent to the customers’ coachbuilders of choice. Because it was produced in the Rolls-Royce factory located in the town of Derby, in England, the model was also known as the Derby Bentley. A straight-six, 3.7-liter engine with two SU carburetors powered the Bentley 3.5 Litre and was equipped with a sporty camshaft and a cross flow cylinder head. The car could reach a top speed of 90 mph according to the factory, thanks to an output of 110 hp. A four-speed manual gearbox with synchromesh on the 3rd and 4th gears was used for transmission. Brakes were servo-assisted all around and suspension was 4-wheel leaf spring.
