Selling a BMW 2000C
As the next bearer of the mantle the 3200 CS had borne, The BMW 2000C was the first of the New Class Coupes. The 2000C featured a rare frontal design, with an avant-garde, aggressive demeanor that wasn’t typical of contemporary designs. Featuring those BMW double-kidneys that defined this generation and strong rectangular headlights—though these we replaced by four round headlights in the U.S. due to government regulations. It was released alongside the 2000CS which had twin carburetors, the single-carburetor model being more often built with an automatic transmission in mind, with 3,249 built as automatics and only 443 built with a manual transmission. Aside from the front, the designs were primarily based off of the 3200 CS, which was a heavy inspiration for the New Class as a whole.
BMW 2000C Seller’s Guide
Having taken its cues from, and then improving, the prior design of the 3200 CS and becoming the 2000C, this New Class coupe is one of the hallmarks of what it means to be a classic. As a classic, it’s subject to all the intricacies of the classic car market, and so if you’re looking to sell, it’s just one more thing to keep track of, in addition to dealing with buyers who want to haggle, arranging visits, test drives, advertising, and so forth. If you want to find someone who has their finger on the pulse of the market, so to speak, why not someone who can handle all the other aspects of a sale as well, reducing stress and hassle in ways you never thought could be done. It can be done, however, and has been done, consistently, by a marvel of a man named Alex Manos and a team of relentless, unwavering, knowledgeable, and eminently experienced classic car enthusiasts.
