The Mark V featured an all-new chassis with independent front suspension that would be used as a basis for many following Jaguar models. The body featured a traditional vertical radiator and sweeping separate fenders, and the style was an evolution of the Mark IV model. The interior featured real wood capping and plush upholstery. The model available in a convertible trim along with the saloon. The drop head model was rarer but probably the most popular in the 3.5-liter variant.
