First debuted in July 1963, the Porsche 356C would be the final generation in the fifteen-year production run of the 356 series. Boasting a similar body shape to the 356B T-6 body type that came before it, one of the only outward differences between the two were the hubcaps. These new hubcaps were smaller and flatter, and did not have the protruding center like those used on the Pre-A, 356A and 356B. As the owner of a 1963 Porsche 356C Cabriolet, you already know that the Cabriolet was the soft-top version of the Coupe, not to be confused with the Convertible D, Roadster and Speedster models that often ran alongside the Cabriolet, which were their own special models. In total, approximately 933 of the 1963 Porsche 356C Cabriolet models would be manufactured during this production year, whereas more than 8,200 Coupe models would be developed during the same time. While the Coupe models are easier to find in the market today, the 356 Cabriolet continues to be one of the most desired.
