Ferrari 365 GTC

Just 168 examples of the Coupe Ferrari 365 GTC (22 of which were right hand drive examples) were made between 1968 and 1970, before its replacement by the Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona. This two-seat Coupe was the successor to the Ferrari 330 GTC, of which production ended in 1968. Both cars shared engineering features, the main differences being the 4.4-Liter engine evolution over the previous 4-Liter V12, increasing power from 300 to 320 hp as well as low-end torque. Design cues were also mostly similar, except for the vents being moved from behind the wheels to the bonnet. The Ferrari 365 GTC had a balanced 50/50 weight distribution ratio thanks to the gearbox, which was integrated with the final drive. The Ferrari 365 featured an independent rear suspension with coil springs and wishbones, just like the Ferrari 330 GTC. The brakes were all-round servo-assisted discs, with a split circuit system.

Ferrari 365 GTC Seller’s Guide

The Ferrari 365 GTC was a wonderfully powerful yet smooth driver’s car, with its FR layout and 4.4-Liter Colombo V12 engine with 3 Weber twin-choke 40 DFI carburetors. The 3,198 lb curb weight allowed the car a very efficient acceleration and the 320hp were transmitted to the wheels via a 5-speed all synchromesh transmission. Of course, these are things that you likely already know as the owner of a Ferrari 365 GTC.
