Produced from 1984 until 1996, the Ferrari Testarossa is one of the most successful road-going Ferrari supercars produced by the Italian automaker. This 2-door, mid-engined coupe replaced the Ferrari BB 512i, the last of the Berlinetta Boxer models. While both cars share the same spectacular Pininfarina-designed body, the Testarossa is wider and more spacious, with a sportier appearance thanks to a number of modifications, including the side strakes (which are there to provide cool air to the rear-mounted radiators) that run from the door to the rear fender on each side. The mid-mounted 390 hp 4.9L Colombo flat-12 engine allows you to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 5.2 seconds and achieve a top speed of 180 mph. During the 13-year period it was in production, the Ferrari Testarossa acquired many admirers. The Road & Track magazine, for example, featured it on its cover no less than nine times in just five years.
