Selling a Rolls Royce Silver Wraith

Rolls Royce Silver Wraith

The Roll Royce Silver Wraith was uniquely tailored to state of the world economy post-World War II. As such, it was decided that a conservative vehicle in the vein of the pre-war Wraith and 25/30 would be an appropriate gambit considering that were still a bit tough. The Silver Wraith kept the formula of a Rolls Royce chassis and mechanical parts coupled with independent coachwork by builders like Park Ward and Hooper, but would be one of the last to follow what was becoming a dated model. Its wheelbase was about 127 inches (though a 133 inch was made available in 1951) and it used a six-cylinder F-head engine originally designed for the cancelled Bentley Mark V. Independent front suspension improved stability and handling, while synchromesh made manually shifting gears much smoother. In 1952 a Hydramatic automatic transmission from General Motors would become an option in the never-ending quest by Rolls Royce to stay on top of the times.

Rolls Royce Silver Wraith Seller’s Guide

If you own a Rolls Royce Silver Wraith, congratulations, you’re part of club, which includes some very wealthy and powerful people. However, this mystique can be double-edged sword, when you’re dealing with a valuable piece like the Silver Wraith you don’t want to just let anybody fiddle with it. The prospect of sale in this case can be self-defeating since a popular vehicle is going to draw in buyers of every stripe. You’re going to have to let them drive it and inspect it, and you might even need to take it to their chosen mechanic. Having a car in high demand may draw a higher sum, but it also draws more eyes and thus more hassle.

To avoid this, you can always pick up the phone and see what Alex Manos has to say things. Quickly and concisely, they will tell you what a vehicle is worth, and if you like their price, than you’re all finished. They’ll even sort out the shipping without an ounce of effort on your part. With Alex Manos, there’s no need to complicate things.
