Buying or Selling a 1983 Ferrari 308 GTB?
The 1983 Ferrari 308 GTB model was also called the 308 GTB Quattrovalvole or QV. Third generation of 308 GTB, the QV had a better acceleration and top speed than the previous generation, reaching up to 152 mph and achieving 0 to 60 mph in 6.5 seconds. Ferrari had to replace the Weber carburetors of the first generation in order to comply with US regulations on emissions, which resulted in a power loss. The QV new fabrication enabled the car to recover most of the lost power, while keeping the smoothness that came with the introduction of the fuel-injection system. Design was from Pininfarina and was widely acclaimed for being a great successor to the Ferrari Dino 246 GT, from which the coachbuilder got some of its inspiration.
