“My name is Jim, and I recently sold my 1964.5 Ford Mustang Coupe to Alex. I am a life-long car “nut”, and at 55 years of age, have literally lost count of the number of beautiful cars I’ve owned, loved, and sold. I am also a retired Auto Finance Specialist, Sales Manager, Dealership Manager and Automobile Broker. In my experience, both personal and professional, I’ve never dealt with anyone as up-front, honest, friendly, fair and PROFESSIONAL as Mr. Alex Manos. From our first conversation, (yes…when you call you’re actually…quickly and politely…routed directly to the The Big Kahuna!) This man knows his business and does not mix words. He’s friendly yet direct, in the most positive/professional way, and he does EXACTLY what he tells you he’ll do. In my experience with this company, everything was handled on the “up and up”, and the amount he promised for my vehicle was presented in the form of a Cashiers Check, and not a Draft, (which is the norm). Drafts can take an extended amount of time to fund…but not with this company. My Mustang was picked up from 145 miles away, promptly, on time, and paid for…exactly as promised. The driver who was sent after my car was courteous, personable, knowledgable and careful to handle my “longtime love” with care. He phoned before arriving and was actually a bit early, which I loved! All staff, that I’ve dealt with, have been top-quality professional people, whom are respectful and diligent to uphold a reputation of honesty and culpability. “I first placed an ad in the classic car sales category. From this, I received a couple of “scams” wanting to make a deal in one day! As a retired CPA AND CFE, I knew I must be sure that I would be paid before the title and car was delivered to the buyer. When I contacted Mr. Manos, he put all my requests (certified check, documents, etc.) up front and made everything work in my favor so I would know that before I released the car, my funds would be secure and all paper work was complete. He has exceptional assistants from his office assistant, to his shipping. She told me the check would be delivered to me the next day by 4:30PM and I received it at 4:10! PJ told me the car would be picked up on Wednesday and there was a little hitch that the carrier could not handle the RR, but PJ got busy and had another carrier at my house within an hour. Although I hated to sell the car that I had owned over 30 years, I was glad that I contacted Mr. Manos and the transaction went as smooth as possible.
