Buying or Selling a Dino 246 GT?
With the introduction of the Dino cars in 1967, Ferrari entered a new era of affordable exotic sports cars to compete with competitors like the Porsche 911 of the era. They were the first Ferraris to use the V-6 engine, which had been used only on racing cars until then.

Selling Your Ferrari?
Let’s Talk!
The 1969 Ferrari Dino 246 GT was a revised version of the first Dino car, the Ferrari Dino 206 GT. Although it shared the attractive Pininfarina-designed body of the first model, the Dino 246 GT replaced the 160 hp, 2.0L all-aluminum engine with the 175 hp, 2.4L FIAT Dino cast-iron V6 engine, in order to match the power of competitor models.

The second version of the affordable Dino sports cars to hit the road, the 1969 Ferrari Dino 246 GT is a 2-door, rear-wheel drive coupe that made its mark as one of the most affordable sports cars of the time. Produced from 1969 until 1974, only 2,295 of these entirely hand-built vehicles were made. Of these, 357 units belong to the Series I and were made until the summer of 1970, using the same center-bold wheels as the 206 GT. If you’re the current owner of one of those special edition, or any type of 1969 Ferrari Dino 246 GT, the Alex Manos team is interested and will make you a top dollar offer should your car fit their collection. “I had been searching for a buyer that wasn’t just flipping my car in its present condition. I owned the car for 28 years and put a lot of time and money into its refurbishment. I wanted to sell it to someone who would finish what I had not and find it a good home. I had just got off the phone with my third prospective buyer. All of them initially low-balled the price and would lose interest in the car when I told them it needed a little work. I continued searching the web and found Alex Manos. I went ahead and called Alex believing that there would again be little interest in a car that needs a little work. Instead, I found Alex to be immediately interested in and knowledgeable of my car. After sending him some pictures, a list of things that I had done to the car, and the things that I considered unfinished, we were able to compromise on a fair price. The money was immediately wired to my bank account and he connected me to his people for handling paperwork and transportation from Dallas to LA. I appreciate Alex’s patience on the pickup date, as I needed to sort through 28 years of car related parts and documents to get the car packed and ready. When, the truck arrived for pickup I was simultaneously feeling sad to see it leave and very appreciative of the service that Alex provided … as my longtime passion and hobby made its way to LA. I can’t imagine an easier or better experience in selling a unique classic car. I whole-heartedly recommend Alex and his dealership for buying or selling such vehicles!

“Great transaction for all my cars. His team is excellent, courteous, and quick. I will always go back to Alex.”

“You never know what you are going to get for service from a internet dealer… But spoke personally with Alex to sell my car, and he was a fantastic, straight-forward person to work with. Was a fantastic experience and his word was golden.. thank you Alex!”

“My transaction went smoothly and Alex is a great fit for selling cars like mine that will appeal to hobbyists wanting to add value with their time and talent. Alex was great at follow up. It was better than going the consignment route and wondering how long it would take to sell and at what price.”

“I have been a car collector and user for several decades. When I decided to sell several cars, I contacted Alex Manos, and the experience was seamless and extremely professional, including the appraisal visit by his agent David. To a person, everything was conducted with a calm and easy disposition, respectful and patient, and I received payment instantly when monetary terms were completed. I will not hesitate to do business with Mr. Manos in the future.”

“Selling my Ferrari to Alex was the easiest transaction I have ever done. He made it so easy all over the phone. He had transportation come and pick up the Ferrari, paperwork was extremely easy. Alex is the best!”

“I reached out to Alex to tell him about a 1966 Ferrari project we had here. He was very interested in the car and making sure the whole process was smooth. He is a joy to deal with. We build high end cars for some great clients, and Alex will be in our “circle” for helping with future dealings!”
