I may have been able to get a little more on the open market, but i would have to endure weeks of tire kickers, aggravation, and people willing to lowball me on the price. I contacted Alex on Monday, we reached a sale agreement on Tuesday, Alex paid for the car on Wednesday and picked it up on Thursday. They guided me through the sale process as cleanly as could be imagined. The original title had been lost and this required many interactions with the California DMV to buy a replacement, with the receipt functioning to permit Alex to move forward with the purchase.
